Microblading is a type of eyebrow architecture. It is all about creating the best shape for each face – A totally bespoke approach for each client. The process is very precise thanks to the tool that is used which is effectively like a pen with the nib being a blade with little needles at the end - needles that don’t penetrate the skin but just delicately scratch the surface, much like a paper cut. The needle very finely implants featherweight strokes with a medical grade pigment on the epidermis layer for the skin, creating fine, realistic and natural hair strokes .

Micro-shading is a form of semi-permanent make-up, performed with a tattoo machine. This method mimicks the look of lightly dusted makeup on the eyebrows. Microshading brows are more suited to oily skin types rather than microblading. This gives a fuller look than the microblading too.

Immediatelly post procedure the treated area may appear swollen and the colour will appear darker and more intense. This will last for several days. Complete healing can take up to 6 weeks for the pigment to mature in the skin and the true colour emerge.
